Commission Orders:
Adoptables/Lineart Policy:
- Prices are subject to change according to complexity of the commission
- I hold the right to decline any commission.
- I have a blacklist of users I refuse to do commissions for or with. Currently, this blacklist is small, but important. When inquiring about a partnered commission, I need to know the FA name of the user you are partnered with. If it is with a blacklisted user, I will not do the commission. If you attempt to trick me into doing a commission with someone blacklisted, you will be blacklisted as well, and it is possible you will not receive a refund for your commission.
- DO NOT ASK FOR A 'GROUP DISCOUNT' or say " because I'm commissioning you so much, I should get X$ Amount off my commission" ! This is NOT how I work, and I will not do discounts for anyone outside commission sales events.
- Please understand that I may have a part time or full time job, and may be going to college courses at any time. My turnaround time can greatly vary between hours and months, due to my hectic RL schedule, but I will make a point to inform the customer, whether through a private message, or publicly on FA or any other active site of any troubles that prevent me from working.
- Have Patience. You do not know my life or what might be going on, please understand sometimes personal things come up. I will do my best to warn via journals if things come up.
- If you do not speak English as a first language, I will still work with you, but please understand there's going to be a language barrier and I will not understand sometimes. If you have a translator, that is amazing and I'd be appreciative if you could use it/him/her.
- Do not attempt to guilt trip me. I absolutely hate this and will not hesitate to block you if it persists. It does not make me work faster, and it only makes me feel worse and LOSE my muse for art. Please be respectful, and I will return the same treatment.
- NEVER alter my work or remove my signature. Especially not for profit. Any free lineart I upload is okay to use, but you must abide by the permissions I grant according to the submission's information. I.E: using the lineart as means to make and sell adoptables. You MAY re-size and crop my work to make yourself an icon. Claiming my work as your own is absolutely prohibited. You have permission to upload any finished works of mine that YOU commissioned to your gallery, but I must see my name mentioned in the image description and a link to either my FA page, or DA page. At no time is it ever okay, now or in the future, for you to ever erase any signatures or watermarks of my work.
- As the artist, I hold my rights to any completed piece. As of 1/1/2017, please understand that your commission may be used in a portfolio or purchasable art book or other type of product on InkedFur.com or other sources. If you are absolutely against this, you must specify that you are, and why, in the commission form. The commissioner may never have absolute full rights to the image, but you will have the following rights.... When you order a commission from me, unless specified otherwise, your rights include re-posting WITH CREDIT TO ME AS ORIGINAL ARTIST to either Deviantart.com or Furaffinity.com. If you post my work anywhere else, you must ask me first. You may NOT use my work for commercial purposes. Period. I will not tolerate others gaining profit off of my work. You may not alter your picture in any way aside from if you wanted to add some sort of small captions on the side as long as my signature goes unharmed.
- If I block you, do not attempt to weasel your way into commissions from me, and do not attempt to harass me. I screencap my conversations. Let it die. This also applies to any artwork I may have done for you. As the artist, I do hold full rights to
- I DO NOT handle sarcasm well...Please do not talk to me in a sarcastic tone. Not only do I not pick up on it easily, but it greatly upsets me and will make me not want to speak with you anymore for that current conversation.
- As of August 1st 2017, I have opened up my Patreon again. Because of the way I am handling my patreon, I must ask that my commissioners do not repost their commission anywhere until three days have passed since the completion. Purposeful failure to comply may result in refusal to work with the customer again.
Commission Orders:
- Any and all customers are expected to read and understand these terms before commissioning me. If you have any questions, contact me and I will be more than happy to clarify or add onto anything you may have a concern or misunderstanding about.
- As of August 1st 2017, commissioners are requested to NOT repost their artwork ordered from me until 3 days have passed. Failure to comply may result in my refusal to work with you. You may still share the work with friends, use it as a reference, etc. But please wait the three day period until posting your work publicly (while of course still crediting me). This is my way of rewarding my Patreon Supporters, allowing them early access to all content.
- Absolutely NO sexual, suggestive, or flirty artwork with my characters or KnightSquiggles. No more, ever. If you try to convince me or KnightSquiggles otherwise you will be promptly banned and blocked. I will straight up blacklist and ignore you with no hesitation at all if you pester EITHER ONE OF US.
- If a commission is going to be very private, and you do not want me to ever post it publicly, you must make that very clear to me before I even begin to work on it.
- Do NOT commission me if you don't know what you want yet, or, do not feel comfortable giving me full artistic freedom. You need to know the basic gist of what you want before you order, this will greatly reduce my stress, as well as the chances of me declining your commission.
- I do not do private streams.
- I will NOT attempt to copy another artist's style. I do things in MY styles. Take a look at my gallery to see what kind of art you may be getting. If you do not like my styles, do not commission me.
- If you are ordering some sort of commission from me in which I do not have a price, do not pressure me to negotiate to what -you- think the price should be. I am usually very uncomfortable taking random commissions that have nothing to do with what I already have priced. I probably won't do this often at all.
- You MUST have a visual reference of any characters you want me to draw. If you do not, as of 1/1/2017, I'm counting this as a partial Design Commission, which WILLincrease the price more than usual!
- Do not EVER assume it's okay to link me to an image to use as reference for your character if it involves child pornography. This means your character is under the age of 18. Please do not ever try to send me links like this and if you are into that sort of thing do NOT tell me. I don't approve of child porn images, even if it's fantasy characters, and do not want to be involved in them, at all. Please just keep it to yourself if you want to be my customer so I don't have bias issues when working with you. Thank you.
- PLEASE do not link me references that involve fetishes that I list I will not draw, particularly scat, watersports, and flatulence.
- If you want a specific pose, do not expect me to read your mind. Give me some reference images, talk to me about it in full detail, etc. If you give me the option to come up with any pose, I will be grateful, as I typically work best when given artistic freedom, but do not require it fully.
- I will not work past the sketch stage, unless agreed upon before I move onto the inks. I may make very minor changes during the inking process. Once inked, it is complete, and ready for color. Minor changes such as fixes to a coloration or perhaps adding hair or accessories are okay under certain conditions. Once I am past the sketch stages, you may no longer request major changes. If I have to completely redo the sketch more than once, I will most likely want to cancel the commission and not continue.
- I will only allow up to three complete/major resketches. If it has taken me that many times or more to get what you wanted, then either I cannot understand you, or you did not know what you wanted, and I'm going to have to cancel, or, ask for additional payment to continue. Keep this in mind!
- Have ALL references, information, etc to me BEFORE I start your commission! If you do not have an 'actual' reference type image, that's fine, but I still need as much ACCURATE art of your characters as you can provide!
- DO NOT WASTE MY TIME If I am hosting a Time-Sensitive commission event! Whether you are participating in the event or not, if I'm working on your commission during a event like this, have some understanding and respect for the event's possible clients in the queue! I have had so many bad issues with this lately and it has caused me to lose out on commissions and clients! If you are ordering a stream commission from me, I understand streams are sometimes boring but you NEED to make an effort to check in at least every ten minutes! DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING FOR 30+ MINUTES!
- Payment may be required up front, but I typically will NOT ask you for payment until I am ready to work on your commission. Please refrain from putting any specific details in paypal notes, as paypal has been known to ban users for taking commissions of a questionable rating. Simply state your username, and the word "Commission" in the description box.
- If your slot is expected to be a good wait, I don't like to price things for you ahead of time and typically will not. My commission prices website is there for a reason...to give you an ESTIMATE. Please use it. If you absolutely insist upon me giving you an exact price, you cannot change your commission any further than what you've filled out, and, you must make sure I have every single bit of information. The reason for this is because the commission subject matter has a tendency to change, especially as of late. A lot of people want to 'add on' as I work on a commission and that really screws me up both financially and mentally as I've already prepared myself for a certain level of content. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but since art is my only income lately, having to deal with people constantly changing their mind back and forth is taking a lot of time away from me and time is something I cannot waste. This is how I am living right now until I find a part time job inbetween my college courses. I cannot have people wasting my time.
- Refunds are issued if a major event happens to myself or the commissioner so that the work cannot be done. I will refund the money for the work that is unfinished. If a sketch is complete, and you originally paid for a full shaded piece, you will not receive the sketch payment back...Only the rest of the money that covered the unfinished work, etc.
Adoptables/Lineart Policy:
- If you buy a design or adoptable from me, you have rights to that character as your own. However, I do not give permission for customers to use that design or adoptable in commercial purposes, or as a way to make profit. The character is yours, however, and you may edit it how you see fit unless they have certain restrictions ( such as a 'Closed Species' ). You are free to 'breed' that character, make it your fursona, give it a story, etc etc. Closed species have their own rules, and you must abide by them.
- I don't care if you draw or write about your newly adopted design in pornographic situations. It is your character that you bought, you're fine to sexualize it.
- If you find yourself not wanting your adopt anymore, you can resell it, but you cannot sell the character for more than you bought it for. If you have additional art made of that character, that's fine, you can up the price based upon the art commissions you may have gotten of it, but the base character price cannot exceed what you initially paid for it.
- Custom Lineart commissions must be agreed upon with a contract-type agreement, which I will provide as the commission is being ordered. Basic Rules for custom lineart to be used by the client for their own adoptables include but are not limited to:
- Absolutely no removal or editing of my signature and watermarks.
- The client does NOT have permission to sell designs made with the lineart for commercial purposes in which another party will be making royalties or profit off of the design and lineart.
- The client must ask the original artist first if the designs made with the lineart are to be used to order physical goods and products. If the original artist does not reply, or is not available, this does not give the client the right to use it anyway.
- The lineart is to never be distributed among friends or other clients for free or for profit.
